President Donald Trump has officially signed the new $900 billion COVID-19 economic relief package, leading to another round of stimulus checks being granted to millions of Americans. The package calls for $600 stimulus checks per person, but Trump is advocating for the amount to be raised to $2,000 per person. At this point however, according to Wall Street analysts, the stimulus amount will most likely stay at $600. Whatever amount ends up in the bank accounts of Americans, it is much needed. According to a study from TransUnion, as of November, six in ten consumers stated they have financially suffered as a result of the pandemic’s grave economic impacts.
