If we don’t connect, please leave me your name and number, a brief description of your legal issue, and let me know good times to reach you. I will return your call as soon as possible—usually within 24 hours.
We will discuss your issue over the phone to see if I may be able to help you. If the answer is yes, I will likely ask you to provide some of the documents relevant to your situation so that I may further evaluate your case. Please be aware that you are not yet my client: at this stage, I have not agreed to
I start work on your case.
Good communication is essential: you need to stay informed so that you can make the proper decisions in your case. I will keep you informed about the progress of your case and will consult with you as needed to keep things moving forward quickly.
Follow up consultation.
After more fully evaluating your case, I will call you to discuss my take on it. If I think that you don’t have a good case, I will tell you. Alternatively, if I believe that your case has merit, I will give you an overview of possible l egal claims and/or defenses and explain how the case would likely work.
If you decide that you want to retain me as your attorney and I agree to represent you, I will send you a written agreement describing the proposed terms and goals of the representation. We will meet in person to review and sign the representation agreement, and to further discuss your case.
